How the hotel works
Tell me what's going on. I'll take it from there.
One front desk, 29 rooms that share one Roster and one North Star, and a real HR partner behind every door. Here is the whole system, start to finish.
1 · Start at the front desk
Ask Erin is my AI avatar. She knows which room you need.
You tell her what's going on in your own words. She works out which room handles it and opens that room with what you told her already filled in: the person, how long it has been going on, the concern itself. Nothing gets typed twice.
If what you tell her includes something sensitive, the room gets the task and not the personal details. Those stay in the conversation.
Ask Erin wears my illustration, never my photo. When you see my photo, that's me.
Marcus was late three times this month and I haven't said anything yet.
Thank you for telling me early. A quick, kind conversation usually works best first. Back on Course has the guide for it, and I've carried over what you told me.
From your conversation with Erin
Back on Course- Who
- Marcus, Baker
- The concern
- Late three times this month
- Going on
- Since early October
Sample company: Juniper Hill Dough Co. All people are fictional.
Your Shift Lead posting needs a pay range. You pay $23 to $26 an hour today. Add that range?
How I checked it
- Minimums. Connecticut's minimum wage is $16.94 an hour as of January 1, 2026 (Conn. Gen. Stat. § 31-58(i)). The range clears it.
- Other levels. The range sits above Baker and below Kitchen Manager.
- Market. No market figure is loaded for this role yet, so this range is not benchmarked.
- Pay equity glance. The three people in this role are paid $23 to $26, and the range covers all of them.

3 · Erin drafts, you decide
Every draft comes with the checks that shaped it.
When a posting needs a pay range, the range starts from what you already pay. Before it reaches you, the room checks it against the minimums, the roles above and below on your Roster, the market figure if one is loaded, and what the people already in the role are paid.
You see the number and the trail behind it. Approve it, edit it, or set it aside. Nothing posts, sends or saves until you say so.
The same shape runs through the hotel: a letter in The Writing Room, a coaching plan in Back on Course, a review in Curtain Call. The room drafts. You decide.
4 · Your Itinerary, each Monday
Three to five things, decisions first.
Each Monday morning your Itinerary lists what's yours to decide, what's coming up, and what I already handled. The rooms keep deadlines and loose ends in the background, so your front page stays calm.
The notification itself carries a count and nothing else: "3 things need you this week." The names and the details wait inside the hotel.
Some things don't wait for Monday. A harassment or discrimination complaint, a threat, a termination today or tomorrow, an accommodation request during discipline, or a notice from a government agency moves to the front of the line. The room says so plainly, and the matter comes to me, the real Erin, the same business day.
Good morning, Dana!
Here's your plan for the week.

5 · What stays private
Built so the sensitive parts stay where they belong.
Notifications never carry a name or a matter
The Monday message says "3 things need you this week," and that is all. A check-in from my Notebook says "Erin has a check-in for you." No diagnoses, no leave details, no pay figures ever leave the hotel in a notification.
Health and leave stay inside their rooms
Accommodation, leave and medical items never appear as text on your Itinerary. They show as a count, and the detail stays in the room that holds it. When a matter needs my read, the note I get names the role, the dates and the step, not the person or the condition.
Pay and reviews stay on the owner's side
Your Itinerary is yours alone to decide. Individual pay in Well Earned stays with you. A leader sees the reviews they wrote, and only you see them all. Only you can change the pay ranges on your job catalog.
Sensitive details don't ride along
When what you tell Ask Erin includes something sensitive, the room gets the task and the personal details are not carried over.
Nothing is sold

6 · Where a person takes over
Every room knows when to call me.
AI carries the process. The judgment behind it is mine, and some situations need the real me in the room. Here is how that happens.
The handoff
A complaint, a threat, a termination this week, an accommodation request during discipline, a government notice, or a case that has outgrown its room goes straight to me. I reply the same business day.
